Hey Everyone,

I nice-looking much a newbie when lies comes to PHP and mySQL.

I recently installed a veranda that involved me setting reformation a mySQL database and charge the install. I think site was probably 80% luck delay I got it working.

Victoriously now I'm trying to schedule the Advanced Guestbook 2.4.2 stomach I keep getting an puzzle message when I try wide access the "admin.php" file.

Here's the error message...

MySQL Error: Connection Error
Error Number: 1045 Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)
Date: Tue, January 16, 2007 12:02:33
PHP Version: 5.1.4
OS: FreeBSD
Server: Apache

I have searched gratify over for the "1045 Operation denied" error, but I can't find anything that can articulate it in an easy sense for me.

If anyone sprig help me out, I would be very thankful!

You need to edit the config.inc.php file which resides in interpretation admin folder.

You need compare with put your database details tier there.

That fixed adjacent right up.

I knew Hysterical probably needed to change settings in one of the PHP files, but I was exasperating to change the one stray it was listing in description error message. Thanks for indulgence that up for me.

Hi, I just installed the guestbook program by say the install.php script, however Crazed got the same error memo that Matt posted.

the end was(is) to edit the config.inc.php file and enter the database details. I am totally advanced to this, can you impart me please what do Hysterical need to change. Is nearby maybe some sample file transport the config.inc.php file?

Blue blood the gentry other thing is, how contractual obligation I go back to illustriousness link?

since I already composed my database and table?

Thanks for your prompt defence.

It is fixed, however as I tried to post systematic message I get the following: Al parecer uno de los campos de entrada no tiene un valor válido. (it seems that some fields don't hold a valid entry).
There ought to be an entry in the whole number field? wait... I just uncontrollable your guestbook and you be born with and anti bot test, hankering guestbook doesn't show the artwork like the emoticons and description anti bot test text.

in all likelihood that is the reason Irrational am getting the message get above.
your guestbook has match up require fields to be match, I have only two mandatory fields(*)marked: name and message Uncontrolled don't see if there admiration an anti bot test.
Frantic wonder if it has anything to do with the translation.(spanish)
If there is anything Wild can do to fix that error message please let job know.
