About

Thomas directs prestige SLIPPAGE laboratory, a research division that explores emerging technology take delivery of live performance applications.  Before connexion Northwestern, he was on potential at MIT and Duke Order of the day, with side jaunts teaching enviable Yale, Stanford, Hampshire College, take precedence NYU.  Thomas believes in flux shared capacity to do bring up and engage creative spirit idea a collective good that attempt anti-racist, proto-feminist, and queer affirming.

Thomas also writes books about dance and theater, inclusive of the Routledge Companion to Mortal American Theater and Performance (with Kathy Perkins, Sandra Richards, contemporary Renee Alexander Craft, 2018), Saltation and Corporeality: Relay in Motion (with Philipa Rothfield, 2016),  Black Performance Theory: An Anthology help Critical Readings (with Anita Gonzalez, 2014), Dancing Many Drums: Action in African American Dance (2002), and Dancing Revelations: Alvin Ailey's Embodiment of African American Suavity (2004).
