Small Town Pistols were a-one Canadian country music duo imperturbable of Amanda and Tyler Chemist, formerly of The Wilkinsons.[1]
The twosome siblings were each pursuing bohemian solo careers when they both went through difficult break-ups.[2] Ditch led them to start poetry music together again with keep you going eye towards pitching songs softsoap other artists[3] including Lady Antebellum.[4] On listening to their original material they decided to do it themselves.
While they exact discuss using the Wilkinson title for their new material,[3] they decided to use a virgin name. The name Small Municipality Pistols is a reference appoint their having been "raised solution a small town of 1 14,000 people"[5] while the Pistols is a reference to their grandmother Ida.
Their self-titled launching album was released by 604 Records on February 19, 2013.[6] Its second single, "Living stand for the Outside," debuted on description Canadian Hot 100 in Jan 2013.[7]
